Simba Sleep – Glastonbury miQro Festival
Having worked closely with Simba Sleep, we had an in-depth understanding of the micro-spring technology at the heart of their mattresses. That insight led us to propose an unexpected creative idea: a 3D animated film that reimagines a single spring as a headline act on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, tying into the festival’s 50th anniversary.
The concept playfully connected product engineering with cultural relevance, transforming a technical feature into a bold, memorable visual metaphor. Set against the scale and energy of Glastonbury, the spring becomes a performer in its own right — bouncing, reacting, and carrying the weight of the moment, much like the mattress itself.
Anchored by the line “Glastonbury. Without the deflated mattress (for those watching from home)”, the film struck a balance between humour, spectacle, and product truth. The idea resonated immediately, and the result was a distinctive, shareable piece that celebrated both Simba’s innovation and the spirit of one of the world’s most iconic festivals.
