Ikea “Discarded”

BEAST used a new technique for creating this film. Our rule was simple – to create a film without staging any of the shots – Everything had to be found, or in this case discarded. Using todays light weight devices, our plan was to always be ready to shoot if by chance we came across a mattress on the street. Over a period of 2 months we shot a huge variety of footage, sometimes on foot, sometimes from a car, even from a beach cruiser! This we cut down to create a 40 second content film for IKEA.
