The Hertz One Charge Challenge: Brighton is part of a wider multi-city content campaign designed to showcase electric vehicle travel in real, characterful destinations across the UK and Europe. Each episode places a host in a new city and challenges them to explore, experience, and navigate the location using a single electric charge — proving both the practicality and enjoyment of EV travel.

For the Brighton edition, Hertz partnered with travel broadcaster and podcaster Lisa Francesca Nand, host of The Big Travel Podcast, to guide audiences through one of England’s most vibrant seaside cities. Shot on location across Brighton’s seafront, historic lanes, and surrounding countryside, the film blends travel storytelling with practical EV insight, capturing the city’s energy, creativity, and coastal atmosphere.

Rather than a traditional car commercial, the film is structured as an experiential journey. Lisa engages with the city organically — stopping at landmarks, discovering hidden corners, and highlighting how electric travel fits naturally into modern urban exploration. The focus is on authenticity, accessibility, and sustainability, positioning Hertz not just as a car rental provider, but as an enabler of contemporary, conscious travel.

As part of the broader Hertz One Charge Challenge series, the Brighton film maintains a consistent visual language and narrative framework while allowing each city’s personality to shape the story.
